GretagMacbeth Eye-One Display 2 – Monitor Calibration Tool (2004)


This calibration tool from 2004 was designed for CRT and LCD monitors.
The white plastic lid on the sensor is also used to measure the ambient light in your workspace. This design stood out from the competition.

Takes 5-10 Minutes depending on the test executed. The software guides you through the process including reminders to do it again after a few weeks. Color calibration is one display per video card.

GretagMacbeth was acquired in 2006 by X-Rite.

If you wonder what this device is. Content creators such as photo and video editors like to have their monitors calibrated so the colors of their content look the way the artist wanted.
